York Montecito

Rooted in rich heritage, the York Archives hold thousands of historic design documents dating back to the early 18th century. This vast repository serves as an endless well of inspiration for their artists, designers, and stylists as they reimagine classic motifs from across the globe for today’s modern interiors.

While York continues to embrace modern printing innovations, heritage craftsmanship powers our studio. They are one of a few select manufacturers worldwide operating the rare, century-old surface presses that pioneered large-scale wallcovering production. Through its partnership with Sherwin-Williams, York brings its distinctive wallcoverings together with Sherwin-Williams color expertise to help create beautifully coordinated spaces.

Powered by a dedicated team of over 250 master artisans and technicians, York’s residential, commercial, and specialty collections appear in premier architectural projects and private residences spanning over 85 countries. By perfecting the balance between signature artistry and production mastery, York remains committed to ensuring the best design and quality wallcoverings are within reach for every consumer.
